Maye is now two days over her due date. A little spray to help keep the mum-to-be cool while she is waiting.

Maye is the mum who likes to dig holes to put her puppies in! We are watching her like a hawk 😆

Following DNA testing, we have discovered Tilly is a carrier of EIC. This will never be a problem to her, she is classed as being free from the disease, but being a carrier it could affect her puppies. This beautiful Red Fox girl has had a sore eye that needed some minor surgery: happily she is expected to make a full recovery. Next week will be far nicer for her as she is off to her new home: exciting times for puppy and new family.

Vet said she needed a sample: it did the trick! Poor little girl has a UTI. She is now on antibiotics and should be fine in a day or two. Being spoilt in the meantime.

We had a first on 25/6 with ‘Boot’ being born in the boot of the car on the way back from the vets. Maye needed an oxytocin shot to speed up labour: it worked really fast – before we even got home. Pics are Maye at the vets with first two puppies, and all four puppies on right.

Boot, his three siblings and Mum, Maye, are all well.

Tilly and Rosie have joined the family at NK. They will need to pass a vet check, DNA checks and a PennHIP test before going onto our breeding program. They are lovely, lively girls, currently just enjoying being puppies.
