Click on photo (or highlighted text for DNA) of the dog to see their hip tests/papers/DNA test results.

Cluff, our boy

Cluff is intelligent and full of energy. He is a well behaved boy who loves to swim. His DNA test for PRA was negative, meaning his puppies will not develop this disease (which causes blindness). Result is on page three. Please note, Cluff is not used as a stud dog outside of the Northbrook Kennels.

Taz

Taz is a steady, friendly dog who loves attention and walks.

Her DNA test for EIC was negative which means she can’t have puppies affected by this genetic illness: EIC causes dogs to temporarily collapse upon vigorous exercise. Result is on page three.

Chewy

Chewy is obedient and agile. She has a friendly personality and enjojs playing with the other dogs. DNA testing shown on Chewy’s papers shows she is free from Exercise induced collapse and the Dilute genes. Her puppies can’t inherit these conditions. For hunters, a little more information here.

Amber

Amber is shy but fast. She loves running around and will pull on the other dogs’ collars to get them to go with her. Amber has had her last litter. After two c-sections, and being a shy dog, we have decided to retire her early.

Rosie (on Right)

Rosie is an intelligent and lively girl. She gets on well with both other dogs and people.

She is free from PRA (which means none of her puppies can develop it, regardless of the dad’s status)

Tilly

Tilly (out for a swim at the park) is a steady, very friendly dog. She loves people time.

DNA testing shows she is free from PRA (meaning her puppies can’t develop the disease).
